Philip, why not at least do me the pleasure of identifying me by name as an idiot?
If you get past your deep-rooted ultraliberal anger, you would remember that I have never expressed personal distaste for Ms. Rhodes' program, in fact, only the opposite. But you have never been great with facts, and the fact that two very important, very liberal top 10 markets have relegated her to less than full clearances late at night (where she was previously heard in PMD in the one) can't be a good thing. And while that doesn't mean anything for her other markets, we all know that PDs, especially PDs of libtalk for which libtalk is #3 in their priority of 3 or 4 stations in a cluster, follow trends set by other stations.
I'd rather see Randi have her four hours back, since it makes sense for an afternoon drive program to cover the entire daypart. As to your "true believers" issue, nobody in radio cares about that. Randi is #2 or #3 because she is a talent. Schultz is #1 because he is a talent that tempers his schtick to the fact that most markets won't listen to a hard-left liberal in numbers substantial enough to monetize them. If they were the only group you care about, why not get a bunch of college sophomores to do liberal talk shows and cut network salaries by 95%?
