Why all the personal attacks on people who legitimately criticize radio? Why does "Smoke" assume Casablanca is Yovino? Even if he is, what's the point of calling someone by their given name instead of their internet handle? Casablanca must've hit a nerve somewhere. Perhaps if RKO spent more time programming instead of defending the station would sound better.

And you are obviously so obsessed, disgruntled and persecuted that you think the staff at WRKO has nothing better to do with their days and nights than come on here under assumed names to challenge you. News flash: They go to work in the morning, afternoon, evening or whenever, they do their jobs, they go home...and they don't waste their time refuting false or meaningless accusations on a message board. Believe it or not, they actually have lives. Your assumption that behind every post that refutes what you say there's an 'RKO staffer is either laughable or pathetic. Get over yourself already.

If he is PY, he was fired from WRKO decades ago. He has written about his firing more than once, so the charge that he needs to divulge that information doesn't hold water. He obviously holds a grudge and compares all talent on the station against the guy who let him get fired. The excuse that ownership has changed and that somehow negates his anger, is absurd. Using his name is justified after he has consistently named people, incorrectly but named them nonetheless dozens of times. He's opened himself up by doing so. He's been out of radio for decades, won't ever work in the business again and it pisses him off. He's got a lot of axes to grind. That's who this guy is and it's obvious to anyone who has even a passing interest in this board. What I object to is his recent habit of discussing politics on a radio board. Granted he doesn't work in the business but he did, for a cup of coffee, therefore he should be given the latitude to obsess about WRKO at his leisure.

And since it's considered a "badge of honor" to be on the enemies list, one could see how you or Jerry might have been inclined to embellish the story for your own purposes. Bottom line, you present, as fact, an account from a deceased source, which cannot be confirmed or refuted.
