Scripps lands McGraw-Hill stations

If they truly wanted to get rid of it then it would have been sold along with WVTM, WNCN, WJAR, and WCMH to Media General back in 2006. Hell, WNCN is now in a higher ranked market than KNSD and WVIT, so NBC/Comcast seems to have a fondness of their California NBC O&O stations like they do with the ones surrounding the New York DMA.

And to that end, aren't they programming NBC Nonstop on KNSD's subchannel space, in tandem with KNBC?

Indeed, it is, along with KNTV in the Bay Area.
