Scripps soon moving Katz TV subchannels to ION stations

In Kansas City, MO, as a result of the Katz networks starting to move to KPXE-TV. KMCI-TV, Ch. 38.4 has changed from Court TV to HSN (In 16:9 widescreen.) & KSHB-TV has added GetTV to Ch. 41.4. KPXE-TV is still showing HSN on Ch. 50.6 (In 4:3 letterbox.).

Updating Houston: Mystery showed up on 49.4 this morning, replacing Shop Ion, which results in Mystery, Grit, Laff, and Court TV all airing on two different stations (for the time being.)

in San Francisco
KKPX 65.2 is Bounce TV also on KFSF 66.3
65.3 is Court TV also on KRON 4.3
65.4 is Grit also on 66.4
65.5 is Laff also on KGO 7.3

It would have been nice if they put Court TV Mystery on one of the channels since I can't get KDTV 14 at all.

Most likely those new diginets will replace the duplicate Scripps diginets that are airing at other station groups.

In New York, if I'm speculating, Doozy would probably replace Laff at 7.3, while Defy might be slotted at the 11.3 spot now occupied by a duplicate of Court TV.

If I probably didn't know any better then I probably think there may be a collusion between Scripps, Nexstar, Tegna, Sinclair, Gray and a few others going on. If I'm the Justice Department then I should probably look into this.

It's a wonder Discovery/A&E haven't started their own/partnered to launch a FTA channel like they have done in other countries? Doozy and Defy seem to have a lot of content from the A&E back catalogue. A&E have recently launched a few FAST channels like Lively Place/Skills and Thrills on Pluto and Roku but no diginet.

I think that Scripps is putting Doozy & Defy on their own stations and ION stations as well be good to put on ION .2 & .3 and get them on Charter Spectrum & Comcast.

Now another set of management changes at EW Scripps.
