This shows the Ticket dominating, with Krld a very distant second and Kesn even further back. Am I reading this wrong because I swear someone posted otherwise.

That's persons 25-54, what I posted earlier was Men 25-54.

And from what I'm told, M25-54 is where the money is in sportsradio. Those stations will take all the women they can get, but a large percentage of their advertising is placed on them strictly on the men numbers.

2 KHKS-FM (KISS)
34t KLIF-FM (i93)

Look out KISS... i93 is coming for you!

But if I93 even draws a little bit away from KISS, look who's in front of KISS. That's right, Their sister station, the Wolf. I bet this is multi-dimensional move from Cumulus- if i93 explodes, so much the better, but if they can just help keep KISS off the Wolf's back, even better-er....

Samething ABC did with KSCS and The Twister a few years ago. The Twister took a hunk out of Wolf's 18-34 thus driving down the Wolfs 12+ bragging rights . Too bad the current crop of dummies at cidatel can't figure that out again.

Hm Hm Hm - KAAM dead last...

This + the October ratings overall makes my night.

Looking at Clear Channel D/FW two things jump out at me... KISS, Mix and KZPS are pulling decent ratings 25-54 while The Eagle and The Edge are tanking. Anyone see a flip coming for 97.1 or 102.1? They are probably a bit higher in the younger demos?

This speaks volumes of the quality (or lack of) of todays mainstream rock.

Everyday I expect to hear word of Rush's cancelation notice on WBAP. FM NewsTalk 97-1 is coming sooner rather than later.

The issue is not Rush, nor even the format. The issue is AM. Put the same format on FM, and the 25-54 will increase dramtically... look at what has happened in dozens of other markets.

Most people under 55 or 60 won't listen to AM for talk, but put the traditional Rush & Friends format on FM and the 35-54 often explodes, and always increases.

That's what I was getting at. A cancelation notice from Clear Channel/Premiere to WBAP for Rush wouldn't surprise me (same for Beck on KLIF). Clear Channel flipping 97.1 to NewsTalk (with Rush) would make a lot a sense.
