Yeah I Remember Keith on KNOK. KNOK was my station 50 years ago. Dewayne Dancer and Scott West become mentors to me when I started in this market.I'm not a big listener of R&B outlets, but even I remember Solis back in the day on KJMZ 100.3 and 107.5 before that. So, that's quite a run he had.
Sounds like they are moving some shit around now.Just heard that starting Monday, The DL Hugley Show will be on "105.7" at 3pm. No mention of the the "Smooth R&B" part...
The voice I miss is Hollywood Henderson. He was a nice man, Hollywood brought many fine people in the industry by being himself. Cultures were different for some of us but, mad respect for him.Yeah I Remember Keith on KNOK. KNOK was my station 50 years ago. So it looks like they are keeping 2 Urbans and 1 Urban AC. I wonder if they will move The Beat to 105.7 and KRNB to 97.9???Well... It's official...
On 105.7:
5AM-9AM: Steve Harvey
9AM-12PM: Queen Indy Bee
12PM-3PM: Veda Loca
3PM-7PM: DL Hughley
7PM-12AM: Love and R&B
KJ live
IMO, that would make sense, but according to what I heard on the promo, DL Hughley said 105.7 is where he is going to be Monday. So it looks like they are keeping 2 Urbans and 1 Urban AC. I wonder if they will move The Beat to 105.7 and KRNB to 97.9???
It still may happen. It could be some equipment engineering issues to make before the frequency switch could take place.IMO, that would make sense, but according to what I heard on the promo, DL Hughley said 105.7 is where he is going to be Monday.
I really hope so. It would be nice to hear R&B on a signal that covers the whole metroplex. It still may happen. It could be some equipment engineering issues to make before the frequency switch could take place.

I wonder if she is the PD or did retain the current PD.Update:
Queen Indy Bee is the first RO personality being heard on KRNB. She's on right now.
I'm sure she is, especially since Keith Solis gone. Salem, do you think they will rebrand?I wonder if she is the PD or did retain the current PD.
Hard to say at this point, but they may freshen up the logo a bit. We haven’t had a significant change in these formats since KJMZ became KRBV in September of 1995.I'm sure she is, especially since Keith Solis gone. Salem, do you think they will rebrand?
I was wondering if they use the same brand that they use in Charlotte, Cincinnati, and Philadelphia. Especially with those call letters.Hard to say at this point, but they may freshen up the logo a bit. We haven’t had a significant change in these formats since KJMZ became KRBV in September of 1995.
