yes, as part of team, Karen does very well. she cut her teeth in team radio (wasn't she one of the early "Miss Kiss" ladies?)
on her own, though? you are putting the same kind of "oh wow" factor into her name that others of us put into JJ's name.
each of the two are pro's. no ands, ifs or buts.
and to put this thread into perspective: outside of morning drive on an Oldies formatted station... it really does NOT matter who is on. keep the music movin' and the needles pinned to the point that would put a smile on ol' Bill Drake's face. the music is the focus, not the on air talent. the on-air folks outside of am drive have a delicate balance between too much and too little. there are pd's who view Oldies stations as CHR's: if you have to take a breath, you're done talking - hit the spots and move on.
in a head-to-head competition - nobody can post one like JJ. (well, maybe Uncle Dale)
