Shall We "Guess That CHR Station?"

The old 106.3 (WHTG) - 106.3 (WKOE) fight in Ocean County would probably be the best predictor of what would happen. What was that like?

I remember when driving down the GSP that WKOE would start to beat up on WHTG-FM near the Forked River Rest Area (Mile 74).....WHTG-FM would still be listenable but would fall apart soon after.

Would it have been better to just keep WKOE at 106.3, and simulcast G-Rock/Hit 106 on the two 106.3s?

Probably not. I would think that the better strategy was to get the biggest numbers possible in the largest market. Leaving 106.3 in Palermo would have gotten Press no numbers in Monmouth Ocean.
