Heard the station has reached out to some out of work talent from the market...out for a little over a year...
anyone on the inside hear this?
 
The Breakfast Club...just add water. I could see The Zone hiring the two guys from the Morning Haze. They created a lot of talk around the water cooler.

Ummm... are you talking about the Morning Rave, which was on KDND (Not The Zone)? The last time I heard the only one to score a job out of that fiasco was Tish in FL.
 
One of the male leads are in talks about coming back to Sac radio. I would figure with the release of Cash that the station would be the Zone but you never know. Personally I think he could do a great job on that station, its been over a year and the press really has pushed the blame to Entercom instead of the actual Morning show guys. And Manney was the one that had stepped out of bounds with the comments, not Lucas.
 
Puh-lease... did you not see that TV interview last year where Lucas threw everyone under the bus and pretty much claimed that he was the victim in this?
 
it's a damn shame that shawn is leaving the zone. very nice guy.

mornings in sacramento need a shot in the arm. they need someone nutty to take over mornings. someone like tik tac (mark allen) of detroit. blow this market up. we DO need a radio war here!

maybe they'll hire some young buck...
 
Not likely... that station's m-o has always been hiring retreads... remember when they brought back Kevin Anderson for a brief, ill-conceived stint? And how many times has Monica been moved in and out of mornings? No one over there has a clue.
 
Cash has a gig-outside of radio. He joined two ex-management types at CBS for a new company that features customized muzak.
