I, for one, am going to defend David! He's not "foolin'" anybody. And just as soon as I can put together a list of successful oldies stations that play the hits of 1990 to 2005, I'll post it here and then you'll all be sorry for implying that recent music is not as enjoyable to hear as the music of the 1950s-60s-70s!
