Radio One may indeed be satisfied with the performance of Mix 107.9, and have no plans to flip. Despite a trend of AM talk moving to an FM signal, such as WSB in Atlanta now on 95.5 and WORD in the Upstate now on 98.9. But overall WBT reaches its designated area and beyond, whether it be 11.10, 99.3, or 107.9-HD3.

Should 96.1 Flip To Talk?

I meant to say that. John Boy was by himself when I was in college.
He didn't approve of some of what WBCY was playing because of his Christian faith. I guess WRFX did better.
Bump. 96.1 is definitely vulnerable for a change with U1 moving Mix to two rimshot frequencies. 96.1 at the behest of 102.9 may very well flip to Hot AC to fill the void. But I still think in my heart of hearts that talk will be the new format - especially with WBT moving to the blowtorch 107.9.
96.1 won't be flipping, especially to Talk.

New (or old depending on how you look at it) morning show debuting on Monday.
This may be something I have predicted, but will wait and see.
Looks like they’re bringing TJ & Riggins back. There’s already unpublished pages on their website.
Brotha Fred and Ace and TJ are the only former morning shows available.
