Shows leaving syndication in 2010

As for "Cheaters," the repeats are a staple on G4. "Street Court" is probably being replaced by the return of "Judge Karen('s Court)" from the same distributor in many markets.

As for weeklies, it appears that "The Brian McKnight Show" is not coming back. With "Soul Train" and "Showtime at the Apollo" gone, the "urban music/variety" genre is just about gone from syndication.
Are you talking about the classic Soul Train which airs on WGN or was there an updated version I was not aware of.

In Los Angeles, "According to Jim" is being picked up by KDOC, as well as a few Disney/Touchtone Movie packages for Prime Time and Saturdays.

Ugh. Just like it's initial run on ABC "According To Jim" is a show that somehow bucks convention and will never ever be put out to pasture and die the death it richly deserves.

Soul Train reruns currently air on BET's Centric channel; Showtime at the Apollo reruns were on TV One up until maybe early last year.

Marc, just because you're talking about "Soul Train" doesn't mean you're required to talk jive.

"Xfinity be running..." Puh-leeze.

I want a show that claims to be reality TV to be reality TV, and not something that might be scripted TV, made to look like reality TV. This is coming from someone who doesn't get into too much TV that a show makes the claim to be reality TV.
"Cheaters" claim to be "real reality television" (which is a load of bunk), but we all know that for over 60 years there's only one true real reality television program still on the air each and every day and night:

THE NEWS!!!!
It's always been my opinion that most of these "reality" shows have a more detailed script than most of our favorite sitcoms and dramas

The Syndie version of Deal or No Deal is gone as of 9/10
Access Hollywood Live is gonna be like how Dr Phil has his Dr. Phil Now segments with new breaking news being aired at once. It's replacing Martha Stewart because it's moving to Hallmark while Bonnie Hunt's time slot will be replaced by Real Housewives classic eps.

WCAU/Philadelphia is picking up 2 of the 3: Real Housewives and The Nate Berkus show, but not picking up Access Hollywood Live in favor of a keeping an extra hour of local programming. So, Real Housewives replaces Deal or No Deal, and Nate Berkus replacing Martha on WCAU. Maybe WPHL picks up Access Hollywood Live - between Wilkos, Springer and Maury?

It's great that Deal or No Deal is being axed.

WNBC is picking up all 3. That's 3 hours of daytime lineup change at once.

Two weeks ago WVIT in Hartford sister station to WNBC and WCAU flip-flopped Ellen and Deal or No Deal. Ellen is now back on at 4PM (where it was airing prior to the launch of DOND) and DOND is airing at 3PM, which will be turned over to Nate Berkus when his show launches in a few weeks. I saw a commercial on WVIT for Access Hollywood Live, but not sure where they're gonna air it. Maybe at Noon replace Bonnie Hunt since her show got canceled. :(

Martha Stewart got bounced off WVIT when NBC expanded the Today Show to 4 hours. Her 11AM time slot was give to the NBC 30 News after the Today Show took over NBC 30's 10AM Newscast. Martha was bounced over to Tribune's FOX 61 at 11AM and then last fall over to sister station WCCT-TV 20 at 9AM after FOX 61 launched a half hour newscast to go up against NBC 30.

So far I haven't heard what's going to be airing at 9AM on WCCT-TV once Martha moves over to The Hallmark Channel. The only changes I've heard so far for WCCT-TV is that effective Monday September 13th The Simpsons and Family Guy move over from sister station FOX 61. WCCT-TV is supposed to be airing them back to back 5PM-7PM. I don't know what's gonna become of Friends and My Name is Earl, which is currently airing 5PM-7PM on WCCT. How I Met Your Mother will be replacing Family Guy 6PM-7PM on FOX 61. I don't know what will replace The Simpsons which is currently airing 11:35-12:35 on FOX 61. (After their 11PM News. Even tho they still list starting times at 11:30 and 12:00 for The Simpsons they don't start airing until 11:35 and 12:05).
