Sid Rosenberg out at 790 The Ticket in Miami

A friend of mine in NYC says Sid's about to sign a deal to return to WFAN. Has anyone seen anything on this?

Looks like Sid is going to WQAM afternoons. FAN blows it again..

don't they have some guy named Mandich under contract? I can't imagine them taking on that headache especially when they are cutting dollars and he has always made a lot of money.

Well mandich did say on the air he is leaving the afternoons and still wants to do the games but i dont know if that opens up for rosenberg or rosenberg will be shifted in after niel and before orlando to shake up a lil bit because 10-2 is quite long for niel to talk doo-doo

QAM's not dumping Neil. they did a new 5 year contract with him not long ago. His complaining about management has been going on for 30 years...it's nothing new.

As usual a bastion of knowledge.

Sources say Joe Bell is a big Sid fan. But where does QAM have the money to pay him? They just laid off their morning update anchor(Jesse Agler) to save an extra 9 dollars an hour. Doesn't sound like a station that can pony up 150K-200K a year for Sid.

Perhaps getting rid of JMP could give 940 some extra jack to throw at Sid. But I doubt JMP was making close to six figures at CC.

As soon as they dump Neil Rogers' contract, they will have money for Sid. Today, WQAM fired Jorge Rodriguez, Neil's producer.

Is there any doubt now?

Earlier this week I heard LeBatard say that Sid was replacing neil. Don't know if that's just speculation on his part, but I hope it's true. I liked Sid and think he would be a good addition to 560. Still not sure why
LF felt compelled to dump him.

Does anyone know what happened to Josh Friedman? I see they have Zaslow back on post Marlins games.

Sid's Wqam debut September 7th 10am to 2pm & he's doing Dolphins postgames which is pretty funny seing as Qam informed the NFL of Sid giving live results when he dis his sunday NFL show.

laughable. I understand he tried to get jobs everywhere but here, but wound up settling on QAM when no one else would hire him. Mr. NY will blow up there like he has everywhere else and wind up begging somewhere else. Another "brilliant" move by Bell....Rose and Mandich hate Sid and I'm sure the Dolphins love the idea of a Giants guy doing their postgame. A replay of the great Howard David experience. A sinking ship continues to sink.

Sid if he plays it straight will run rings around any of his competitors..Just 1 man Mr Chernoff put the kabosh on his return to WFAN. Believe me without New Yorkers, Florida would probably sink, especially its so called radio personalities.
