In the early 60's from Ohio I had verified 580, 780 (50 watt AFRS station at Ramey AFB), 740, 810, 850, 940, 1140 (10 years later I would be GM of this) 1370, 1390, 1480. From Phoenix in 1974 I got WRSJ on 1560 with 250 watts, as my only PR catch from that location.

I have actually pulled in 810-WKVM north of Albany, NY mixing with CJVA from New Brunswick when local

Of course, what "skips out" best for DX and what has the best local coverage are often two very different things.
