They added this song about 6 months ago. It was about the same time they relaxed their tight playlist, finally getting away from the disasterous "real" classic rock idea. Yes they still call themselves real classic rock but they re-added Elton John, Billy Joel, U2, Talking Heads, CCR, Rod Stewart, REM, and the Beatles. It is funny that over the past 8-10 years I have noticed many songs or artists that get added, then they never play them again. Just when I think they might make radio interesting, they revert back. Here is a few artists that I have heard in the past 10 years: Jim Croce (they added 3 songs at one time), Quarterflash, Simon and Garfunkel, Soundgarden, Blues Traveler, Lenny Kravitz, Gordon Lightfoot, Al Stewart, Steve Winwood, Alice in Chains, collective soul, INxS, Romones, Blondie, and Dan folgerberg. Yeah that is a wide range. To me, that is a good thing:variety
I'd like to see QMF transition to either a classic hits format or active rock format. WWWY in Columbus switched from active rock to classic hits. So there is no active rock on either side of the river right now. And Louisville does't have a classic hits station. SFR calls themselves a classic hits station but they changed in name only. They still play the same classic rock they did 15 years ago. QMF could keep playing the stuff they do now just either add some new melodic rock songs or song pop/rock songs from the past. It would have to help their ratings.
