Since We Are Going Down Memory Lane What Ever Happened To.....

Hey guys just happened to see this place brings back memories

I am Ray Knapp when I was at WHAM and Ray Donalds when I worked at WGVA radio station. I worked radio in the early 70s. I was the news director when Marge Banner was hired man did I get into trouble for hiring a woman news person! I think but not sure that I hired Mark Giardina there also. And Mark helped me get a job at WHAM. I loved working in radio and really miss it. I left radio to get a secure job. I was never fired but saw many people get canned and I decided to get out. I went to work at Kodak and it was great to me started there in 1976 and left in 2002 when I went out on permanent disability.

I saw here that Johnny Thomas (midera was his real last name?) is not at GVA? God I thought he would be there until the end of time. I would love to see him, Mark Giardina, Leo Day, and the rest of the guys that worked there when I did.

Working in radio was great but bad at the same time but I still miss it badly.
