AMTC Upgrades SIRIUS Business Equipment Kit
February 7, 2007, Clearwater, FL – Applied Media Technologies Corporation, national provider of SIRIUS Satellite Radio for business use, announced today that it has introduced an improved SIRIUS Business Equipment Kit, provided to all new SIRIUS business subscribers. The kit’s three main components have all been upgraded.

The centerpiece of the new kit is the InV SV2 receiver, manufactured for AMTC by Directed Electronics. The Generation 3.5 SV2 is significantly smaller and lighter than AMTC’s previous receiver and includes an enhanced chipset. The unit emits virtually no heat, making the receiver even more reliable for continual use in business environments.

The new kit includes 100 feet of 3 GHz sweep-tested, low-attenuation coaxial distribution cable. The new cabling provides more reliable signal transmission and easier connectivity. AMTC’s 10.5” commercial-grade outdoor antenna has been modified to accept this new cable.
