Had a rental car equipped with Sirius over the weekend and quickly tuned to channel 75, the new "Siriusly Sinatra."
It seemed that about 60 percent of the music was by Frank. Even for a huge Sinatra enthusiast like me, this seemed just a little too much. I don't believe that such a large emphasis on one artist - even the Entertainer of the Century - is the best representation of what standards radio can be.
I only hear Sirius occasionally, but I found its previous incarnation of the format, "Standard Time" to be much more listenable.
Also disappointing on "Siriusly Sinatra" - no air personalities!
Thoughts, anyone?
