I don't really mind the Seacrest syndication because everyone knows that's beamed in- but the unimpressive overnight & weekend voice tracking are meant to be deceptive(& like someone else said- people have figured out that they're being b.s-ed by the same thing on every channel. If CC is that worried about saving $, why the Sisanie & other weekend corporate voice trackers far, far away from your town? They could just have Sisanie be the corporate "entertainment tour guide" & have her voice a :30 "Hollywood Dirt" segment (written by interns of course), and run one per hour overnights. That'd save forking out $50 a night x however many affiliates she's on).
Again- they'd be better off with NO fake L.A jock voice tracks - at least the local Kiss station promos are live & local sounding!
It'd sound better if they(local stations) went out, got listeners to voice liners like " I'm Gina from Brooke Park & I jam with 965 Kiss FM all night long". At least the break would mention an area familiar with the local listeners(other than Sisanie on her soapbox about how she hopes Chris Brown doesn't get in trouble for beating up Rihanna.
Too bad there isn't a command in NexGen that, between selected hours, each voice track would air backwards. Now THAT would be entertainment.

People are not dumb. Every listener might not really care about local content or tracked jocks, but they begin to notice paterns of low quality, similar boring music on many different stations, and just bad radio over time.

Again, the public isn't totally stupid.

Hmmmmm... not sure about the level of accuracy in the statement above... according to the precise definition of the word "dumb"... However, I can agree with "the public isn't totally stupid".

But I'll just say for most listeners, if they begin to notice similar music on many stations, whether boring or not, they will just assume "Well, these songs must really be popular. Everyone else likes it, so I guess that means it's cool and I should too..." Then next thing you know, everybody ends up with pretty much the same top 40 songs in their Ipods, despite the fact that there are tons and billions of other songs that exist in this world. At least, this is what happens with the younger generation. By the time most people get older, one or two things happen; they either
1. Form a habit and a solid belief that if everyone is playing it, then it must be because it's so popular and great, or
2. Become wiser and decide for themselves whether or not they choose to continue listening to certain things or go explore the many other types of stuff available, even if "everyone else and the media" isn't saying this is what's hot.

Then there are some that just don't care either way or have no interest in music.

So yes, I agree with most of what's been said, with exception to the "people are not dumb" portion. We have terrorism.... people who drink/text and drive... people who still manage to get caught speeding by a highway camera when it is CLEALY ADVERTISED AND POSTED that it's coming up within a specified amount of feet... People who cannot understand or see the absurdity in killing/injuring or stealing from others.. People who don't leave during a hurricane warning evacuation, then get mad and blame everyone else for not saving them when they experience the consequences... and shows like Punk"d, Candid Camera, Lente Loco, Jamie Kennedy doing VERY well...etc. So I cannot agree with the "people are not dumb", but yes, the public isn't totally stupid.

.....And yes, I did notice, fi... f... fi........um, FIVE pages on Sisanie now?!? geez. The Infamous Sisanie now deserves her own holiday, which is the excuse I'm going to use when I do not show up to work next Monday and Tuesday.

To which I make MY point again: YOU are not the average radio listener. People in radio spend far too much time thinking they know anything about how the real public consumes radio. I wouldn't wish unemployment on anyone that was actually in radio, but it would be really interesting if those of you that are could take a sabbatical from being in radio to see how little even YOU would use it.

At no point was I suggesting the public was stupid. I agree that PC programming is awful. I agree that the public is craving better content, and very little that's out there gives that to them. However, don't substitute your own passion for radio programming for that of an average listener that doesn't care about the medium like you do.

Ok, with the incredible amount of stuff I wrote, I still cannot see how people are still confused about whether or not I like Sisanie. First, we have people who think I'm in love with her. Second,  we have people thinking I don't like her, and I out of all people think I've written in the most precise, clear detail possible! Geez! Now I see for sure how inaccurate the Presidential election votes and polls are! You can say a lot and still it cannot be fully understood by all, which I'm sure has lead to many people voting based on misinformation, misunderstanding, or voting based on information they did not fully understand..etc.

No where did I say I did not like Sisanie. As a matter of fact, I could understand someone writing the sarcastic "Someone's in love with her" comment more than the "You don't like Sisanie" one, based on all the information I've presented in my posts!

Anyway, let me make it very clear that I do not know Sisanie, so therefore, I cannot accurately hypothesize or say that I either like her or don't like her as a person. I can only judge based on what I hear on the radio, and from what I hear on the radio, I think she's alright. This is basically what all my posts (can't speak for anyone else) boils down to. She's alright and handles her job pretty well. Of course, I'm joking with the calling her famous and "infamous" stuff. As a matter of fact, I really hope this post continues on for an extended amount of time and that Sisanie reads this stuff because with the amount of entertainment she receives here, she'd probably never have to watch t.v. or visit a Barnes & Nobles book store again.

......Ok I'm done with my talk radio style writing for now. I guess I could also be a rapper. I just said a lot, and much of it sounded important, you got slightly emotional and riled up about some of what I said, but really in the end, you figure out I didn't say much of anything at all!

Anyway, If this reaches a sixth page, I may just have to... I don't even know! I've already called her famous, took holiday's off of work in her honor.... Just to make things interesting, if she gets ten pages, I'm naming all my kids Sisanie Voicetracking AND might even throw in a ticket for her and I or any girl with the name Sisanie to a seven day stay in Hawaii!

Girl Talk With Sis..Don't Hate!! Appreciate!!

Alright!! Hear me ouuuut..We all have our pet peeves that bother us and for the most part we can't control. You know what really bothers me?!? Haters!! HAHAHA! I know!! You might be thinking "Sis it could be worse," but really why do people you don't know and even your closest friends have to hate! You would think the people closest to you would be proud of all the hard work and hours you put into your job and overall life.

I really hate it when things are going great for me and are falling into place and out of nowhere someone has to ruin it and hate on me!! It's such a downer..man! I hate that! Sometimes you can't help the benefits and perks that come with your work and I take full advantage of all the great stuff because I LOVE my job and I WORK really hard!! Haters need to stop drinking their Hater-ade!! lol and count their blessings!! Ugh..well I guess I'm hating on haters, but it's for a complete valid reason...you know what I'm sayin'?!?! Soooo Haters don't hate! Appreciate!!

Well if I logged in and saw this, I'd be MORE THAN PROUD, because the more people talk about you, the more it must mean you're worth talking about. ...well in most cases... but this is one of those cases.

Notice how the more famous you are, the more people talk and make jokes? In reality, all this is beneficial because the more people read, the more people are going to want to find out "Who is the Infamous Sisanie EVERYBODY'S talkin' about?" If nobody's talking, then this is when you should really be worried and insulted.

I'm surprised I didn't get haters for starting up all this "famous" talk!

In reality, there is no reason for anyone to REALLY be hating because it's not like she's doing anything to hurt anybody. Really, on the serious side of things, what people should be discussing is some of the absurdity in politics and other events that occur in everyday life. Now THOSE are the things people should be worried about.

Anyway, I'm just waiting to see if it reaches page 10 because I really want to go to Hawaii!!!

Oh, and one more observation, you cannot really hate on someone who's getting more views and attention than anything else that's happening in CHR/Pop...in July - and notice this is POP we are talking about here!!! How do you beat that??!!?? Ok, I'm done now.

Her blog reads like that of a typical 15 year old schoolgirl, complete with ghetto terminology. I guess that makes me a hater to notice that. It doesn't take much to hit left arrow, hit up arrow, say "Jesse McCartney's like such a hottie- here he is" then hit right arrow.
