I realize that Skip is getting older, but I wasn't aware of any health problems. What's he been going through?

Neil Millman said:Here's the short list: diabetes, congestive heart failure, irregular heartbeat and reduced kidney & liver function. He is one more "health problem" away from being Montgomery Burns. I'm not a doctor, but I have watched "Scrubs." CHF is life-threatening. No wonder Chip moved back here.

I have always enjoyed hearing Skip on both Radio and TV.
One of my favorite Skip quotes during the lean years was heard at the end of many a game:
"Once again the Braves have managed to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory."
A quote that could also be used frequently in the past weeks.
