So after SUNNY makes the change....

Which stations? 1490/1090? 98.7 in G'boro? 102.5 after its supposed move to Hillsborough? I haven't heard anything else about format changes around here since Sunny became Kiss; has anyone heard anything new?

Within WRAL-FM's reach, there has been a lot of format changes in the past year...most of which coming at the last half of last year: 93.1, 93.9, 94.1, 100.7, 106.1...and at least a change or two on the AM dial as well.

All that, plus 94.5 going espanol and WFMX getting the "Kiss" of death... The 94.5 flip was the prelude of the WFMX one, and the WFMX flip created the "domino effect" that followed in the last three months.

I don't know alot about the history of flipping formats in the area, but it seems like one station flips and the rest react. Pretty interesting to watch actually, for a radio nerd like me. For instance:

GBT to "El GBT"
caused
FMX to MKS
caused
Oldies to Wolf
caused
Hitz to Oldies
