Unless radio-locator.com is out of date the stick is still at Portland--suburban Freeport (halfway to Panama City). Charlie or Tibbs might remember for sure, but it seems to me that 103.1 was originally licensed to Defuniak Springs as a little ol' Class A.

Us radio types tend to forget that even if you can hear a station clearly on the car radio, FM signals have a harder time penetrating buildings once you get past the "city grade" contour--which for Mix is probably around Sandestin. So moving the SOB to 98.1 would hike them from Pretender to Contender in one fell swoop. Not sure if these guys are that smart, though...
