This really is kind of funny. If nothing else, they've succeeded in getting the attention of the radio-info North Florida radio geeks (us). But as amusing as that might be, it don't get 'em any closer to being successful with The Great 98.
Regardless of what they decide to do with it, they're going to have to go head-to-head with a well-established station and they'll need to out-program and out-promote them. There really aren't any gaping holes in the format spectrum that are worth spit.
Given their track record, what are the chances these folks will put a superior product on 98.1 and invest the time, money, effort and talent required to win in Fort Walton Beach?
Or are we all really just waiting around to hear how they screw it up?
