SOME AREA RADIO MYSPACERS

Whinerline,
Why did you mention her name?
I didn't say the womans name, because this isn't Burger King .
If I ever wrote anything like that where I work, they probably would fire me.
You get reamed out today for things much less provacative.
You shouldn't have said her name.
We go after eachother pretty tuff here, but i don't think anyone should have been outed.

Lets see... "Keri" is in her myspace profile tag.. as well as her name on the profile. I honestly dont think she's hiding or wants to hide who she is.

AHAHA @ outing someone like its a big shock who these people are

I just looked at the page and I still don't get what the big deal is.
She called someone a f****** racist.
Who cares?
What's the problem?
What else is offensive?
To be honest, her page is pretty cool. She's got a picture of Larry Glick!
And she's gorgeous. If I was 25 years younger ... she'd be in trouble.

NOT A HOBBY
Have a question,

Are you Keri?

I have a reason for asking. 8)

You her boyfriend? Gonna punch my lights out for calling her cute?
No, I'm not.

The gentlemen on the Boston board are right. You guys are a bunch of freaks down here.

Notahobby: the morons on the Boston board are the worst in Radio-Info history. Just read some of the worthless threads as of late.

John: I know for a fact that Myspace ignores complaints because I have reported several underage users to them, and the profiles are almost never deleted. The Myspace rules are that you have to be a certain age to have a profile, and that you will be deleted if you lie about your age. I have come across several profiles with females lying about their ages. They will say they are in their 20s...and later on in the profile, they will admit their real age (most of them are between 14 and 17...somtimes even younger than that). Myspace sometimes deletes them...sometimes they don't. I find it very disturbing that I have to come across profiles of teenagers (some with scantily clad pictures) mixed in with adult's profiles.

What is the big deal? So, some area jocks have MySpace accounts. It's a great way to network. That's what I do with my account: I've gotten in touch with some of my old radio friends - some who I haven't seen in more than a decade. Sure, there are some who abuse it - but I don't let it dissuade me from using it to my advantage/entertainment.

/mode soapbox ON

If jocks post their rants on MySpace and his/her employer doesn't have a problem with it, why should you? It's blatantly apparent that some of R-I.com's users have nothing else better to do than whine, bitch and point fingers at others. Does it really bother you that much????

/mode soapbox OFF

Did anyone say it was a problem to have a myspace account? (some people say its just for teenagers and predators, but in reality it is a great way for air personalities to stay connected with their audience outside of the broadcast realm.
