As am I, hasn't 101 continuously played both Spanish and English music since the Mega incarnation began? Biggest difference being that the personalities now speak exclusively in Spanish? I mean, 101 still plays commercials in both languages, and that's not typically the case with other Spanish stations such as 98.5, 104.9, 102.9 etc.

Mega cut out all English songs around July. It is 100% Spanish music. Announcing is 100% Spanish, too.
I've heard a couple of English (and by english, I mean hispanic artist that do an English song) during the past weeks, but not a lot to be noticed. Certainly, the comment by the DJ meant nothing.

I've heard them too which is odd. I'm guessing advertisers are still under the impression that the station is still Bilingual (which I doubt because no advertiser is that stupid,..................right?)

Yeah, Mediabase shows two Selena songs in English... there are powerful reasons to make an exception there. But the Akon type of song has been gone nearly 6 months.
