Something Decent on Cartoon Network for a Change

MEMO TO DISNEY

How about a Vault Disney Digital Channel? Or just do it over the Net and chatge a fee. I'd gladly pay for it. I miss all the programming that you have locked away in the vault that isn't shown anymore. Use it or lose it!

So does Toon Disney air any former Disney cartoons like Chip & Dale, Talespin, and others? I remember seeing Toon Disney as they aired Disney classic such as these.

The only bad part Toon Disney has that Nick and Cartoon Network don't is that you don't need digital cable to watch Nick or Cartoon Network.

To the bet of my knowledge they do not. And after the relaunch they won't ever show that stuff again. :(

I was thinking the same thing here...in fact, watching some of the old Disney Channel promos put up on YouTube, I kinda miss the old Disney Channel. They had the old cartoons in the mornings and early afternoons, the preschool stuff in the middays (pretty much what Playhouse Disney is now), teen shows in the late afternoons/early evenings (now everything is teen-oriented after 12 noon everyday), and original series, specials, movies (from Disney and other studios) in primetime. This was of course when Disney Channel as a pay channel, and since my mother want to didn't pay extra for it, I would always wait the four times of year whenever they offered the free previews (usually from Thursday morning to early Monday morning). Sometimes a lot of the old Disney theratical movies (Pollyanna, the original Shaggy Dog, Absent-Minded Professor, etc.) often wind up on the Hallmark Channel.

From the previews I've seen from the Toon Disney/Disney XD relaunch, it's going to be more or less a clone of what's already on the main Disney Channel, except more action-oriented. Even with that, I don't see Disney Channel getting rid of the teen sitcoms that are ratings and money-grabbers.

Maybe they should make it Teen Disney instead of Disney XD. That way move teen shows to Teen Disney and on Disney Channel show more movies some classic cartoons. What I am not saying is make it like The N. Wait just rename ABC Family Teen Disney and keep Toon Disney the way it is just adding back the classics.
