Songs you "misheard" the first time you heard them

Shortly after that song came out, I opened the first discotheque in Quito, Ecuador. Because the song had no meaning, in English or Spanish I named the disco "Louie Louie". We used radio tape cartridges for some of the music in the venue, and one thing we did was play a line from the hook of "Louie Louie" every so often between full dance songs.
Here you go:

Louie Louie (oh, no), said me gotta go (yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah).
I said, Louie Louie (oh, baby), I said baby, we gotta go.

A fine little girl, she waits for me.
Me catch the ship across the sea.
Me sailed that ship all alone.
Me never think how I’ll make it home

Louie Louie (yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah) I said we gotta go (oh, no).
Said Louie Louie (oh, baby), said we gotta go.

*

Three nights and days I sailed the sea.
Me think of girl (oh) constantly.
On that ship, I dream she there.
I smell the rose in her hair.

Louie Louie (oh, no) said we gotta go (yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah).
Louie Louie (oh, baby) said we gotta go.

(Okay, let’s give it to them right now!)

**

Me see Jamaica, the moon above.
It won’t be long me see me love.
Me take her in my arms and then,
I tell her I’ll never leave again.

Louie Louie (oh, no), said we gotta go (yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah).
Said Louie Louie (oh, baby), said we gotta go.
I said we gotta go now.
Let’s hustle on out of here.
Let’s go!

The biggest knock on "Louie Louie" was the atrocious grammar: "Me gotta go," etc.
One has to recognize that "standard English" is not what you will hear in places like Jamaica. While not a separate language like Kreyol in Haiti, it is definitely a separate dialect.

Paul Simon: "every time you go away, you take a piece of meat with you".

Shania Twain - That Don't Impress Me Much: "I can't believe you kiss your c**k at night"

And of course, Gala - Freed From Desire, the track that had everyone wondering what a "trombolise" was:

You have to give the drummer credit: unless you saw the actual notes printed out you would never notice the mistake. If saw an old video on YouTube that showed the drummer singing the chorus. I don't think there was a lot of 16 + track recording going on at that time so I guess the drummer wasn't close to the mic at that time.
To be totally honest I never knew about the F bomb until it was bought up on this thread. I am sure no one at the record company caught it either.

I can only guess the Congressmen investigating (who most likely grew up listening to Glen Miller, Sinatra, Bing etc.) would have not picked up on it. They most likely read the copyright printed lyrics while listening and gave it a pass.

It's definitely buried, which was likely why they got away with it. The "congressional investigation" missed it.

Night Ranger's Sister Christian: I always hear "Motorhead what's your price to fight".

Tons of requests along the border from kids (both sexes) in a 97% Hispanic town requesting "Fxxking Town instead of Funky Town by Lipps Inc.

Favorite Lyric from Pop Muzik by M: Boogie with a suitcase! and Shuffle with a shoeshine.

Blinded by the Light - Revved Up Like A Deuce - to me sounds more like ******. Still sing it that way.
