I can't speak for Q102 directly, but I can certainly identify and empathize. Q's sister station here in Hartford, Kiss 95.7 (WKSS) is suffering the same ills. I'm convinced that Clear Channel is killing both of these once-great radio stations.

Yeah that's right. Clear channel; owns 500 successful CHR's but they are killing these two. You Do know that station are run by market and by their PD's and VP's and GM's right? There aren't corporate mandates that force one format across the board to run the same as another? You realize the market and the competition dictate that right? Ask for new station leadership if you aren't happy with ONE station. The company isn't to blame for the ills listed here. What any great CHR needs first and foremost is a morning show that is solid and REALLY in touch with it's demo. Is this one?

Proper nettiquite. All caps lock gives the presence you are shouting. Plus it's an eyesore trying to read it.
 
Mornings would sound so much better if Q-102 had Elvis Duran and the Morning Zoo..... I hear Tom Poleman's goal is to expand the morning zoo's syndication beyond the reaches of NYC, Northwest Jersey and Miami. Who knows if it'll come to Philly? I think it'd be a great idea.
 
Q102 I like. I don't mind it's rhythmic lean it's kinda cool. Q102 has always been a favorite of mine. I hope Q102 and Kiss 95.7 stay on the air. I don't want them changing formats.
 
Pitching up does help slower songs in some instances but sometimes songs sound ridiculous,for instance the new Cascada song. Q is pitched up to 3 possibly 4. Thats entirely too much for my ears.
