Please get a clue before you speak. The Bear is #2 P25-54 and is on the best ratings run in the station's HISTORY!
I have a clue. To me the Bear has become repetitive. Then again I was only one listener. As for being #2 in that demo, that's very good and congrats on that. I would like to see a station with a much harder edge in the South Bend area, that was the primary reason for my original comments.

An honest question...how long do you listen to the Bear? The slam of reptitive playlists usually comes from those who locked the radio on the frequency and leave it there for multiple hours (6-9 per day). In that case, yes you will hear the same songs. The problem is that you can increase the library, lengthen out the rotations and decrease familiarity quickly...decreasing time spent listening and holding cume. Face it...the typical radio listener know what they love and love to hear what they know. Tight lists get complaints but work well.

I was listening from when Bob & Tom came on the air until five or so in the afternoon, which is long enough to get burned out so quickly. Not a problem, I was just blowing off some hot air.

The BEAR has very good ratings and I have been a fan of the station for a long time. I do think however that elkiewheels had a point about WZOW. I would personally love to see WZOW go after the bear, and they also have better coverage then the bear with 102.3 and 97.7. I wouldn’t mind seeing WZOW do something like WIRX does with the classic library along with new rock from tool, stone sour, etc.
