Many sponsors have pulled advertising from 96.9 WTKK, and are reluctant to resume advertising with the station should the currently-suspended Jay Severin return to the air.
To quote a spokesman from former sponsor The Retailers Association of Massachusetts: "If he comes back on, we're not spending any money with him. We don't want to be associated with him. This guy is very controversial right now. He said some things we don't want to be associated with."
