Then who are the "true progressive Democrats?" The socialists?
I have mentioned some names before but apparently you missed them. I would include (among the better known):
Eugene McCarthy
George McGovern
Paul Wellstone
Howard Dean
Dennis Kucinich
Apparently you have a very broad and fluid definition of "socialist," which includes anyone with whom you don't agree.
Whereas you, on the other hand, know better than most of the world.
As one of my professors said, "Not only can 50 million Frenchmen be wrong; they usually are." To paraphrase Robert Heinlein (a libertarian), you can't determine truth by counting people's noses. Maybe you should also read some Ayn Rand (another libertarian).
There are no stations in my city that carry liberal talk radio shows that draw significant ratings. And there are no progressive talk radio shows on the air at all.
Apparently you are now making a distinction between "liberals" and progressives.
As Baroosk pointed out, progressive talk radio is available online and via satellite radio and that is how a substantial portion of its audience listens. Here's the audio link for Stephanie Miller - available 9am to 12noon Eastern. Enjoy.
