KBIG and KYSR sound NOTHING alike... heck, they have very few songs in common. Other than Kelly Clarkson and some 80's and 90's stuff, there is very little overlap in the 2 stations playlists. The main things they have in common are that they are both owned by CC and that they both used to be Hot AC reporters in R&R, and that neither sounds very good on the air...
Yes, the station has sounded better of late, with the 8 or so new songs it's added the past month, but it hasn't done much beyond that. I'm also wondering what Gavin DeGraw's "I Don't Want To Be" did to deserve getting purged from their playlist the past couple of months??? Oh, maybe JACK is playing it... yeah, that must be it. Clearly, Clear Channel has no idea how to run Star other than into the ground.
