Stephens purchases Edge/KTSO?

i would like to see KMYZ become a true alternative/indie station and drop the mainstream rock BS. but i know that will not happen, but one can only hope so. they play a few indie tracks surrounded by the same crap KMOD has in their mainstream/active rock rotation

Stephens could also simulcast the Sports Animal on 100.9 to fill in for the deficiencies of the 97.1 signal, unless that signal is better than what Radio-Locator's map indicates.

I can get 97.1 well into Osage county...even in areas I can't get 100.9.

KTSO becoming a Lite AC might be a good move. KBEZ pulled a consistent 3-3.5 or so, with a marginally entertaining morning show. Likely pulled the plug on it since they could put a no-cost station on and pull about the same weak numbers. Never marketed the thing either. We'll see what Journal does with BOB-FM, if anything. What I don't know is if there's an audience for a Lite AC or if MIX has got the entire AC shooting match sewn up.
