Stereo Tool V.7.03

chriscollins said:
Have you got anything in the works for Stereo Tool that works well on that type of material?
The declipper will fix clipping, but not compression.

There is something I made over a year ago, called 'Natural Dynamics'. You can enable it by manually editing the .sts (or .ini) file, search for this line and change 0 to 1:
OVERRIDE: ShowNaturalDynamics=0

This is a dynamics expander, but it has FAR too many bands (18 internally!) and causes artifacts. That's why it's turned off and even made invisible by default; the principe works though and especially for compressed bass sounds it can really do great things.

I want to make something new later on, but I have other - more important - things that I want to do first.

Has anyone ever tried Stereo Tool with an AM transmitter?

YES! I know one guy who is using it on a low power AM station.

Hans should ask Jesse for an ST version of Breakaway's famous 'Plutonium'. ;D
That way new users have a good startingpoint...

I've played with ST for a couple of weeks now and even registered the whole FM+Clipper enchilada. As good as Breakaway is, ST is better. This has been a great aural experience. Can't wait to try the presets in 048 as the satisfaction I have so far has all been derived from US FM Stereo with a few tweaks. I'm impressed.

That's the Breakaway preset I'm using for my station. Great, clean signal that isn't over-compressed.

I believe you created a preset with an 'Orban like' bassflavour for ST?
Not yet :)
Now i am finishing some other preset, I might upload it tonight. Next one will be something like that. It will ofc never be like orban! Atleas it will be cleaner :)

Encountered an issue with BBP ASIO crackling...troubleshot it to death. Bought Stereo Tool and love the sound. No crackling...

Very nice sound. Highly impressed on day 2. Major kudos to Hanz.

Anyone have a preset close to Plutonium or Eruption?

You really like that Bass with dance music from Plutonium? I might make something similar soon, and ofc will never be exactly same.

hm, can't sent PM's...
Can you send me Your mail address? I migjt have something for you if you are willing to check.
