Franken FM?? Yes there is...illegal too because it's KIPS LD...low power digital but running in analog
And as to 1300, not sure why it's off, etc...but if it's not back on soon, I may be filing a transfer of control back to me..Im checking the sales agreement but I think there is a clause that gives me that power to do so.

I don’t think 87.7 is broadcasting. If it is, I can’t pick it up in Beaumont on any radio I have. Perhaps it’s illegally broadcasting from somewhere else like Devers.

As for 87.7, I guess Daniel finally took it off the air...it was on back in Feb when I was in town. The FCC was ready to issue a NAL for his operation....guess he caught wind of it and threw the switch.
Yeah you're confused....when 1300 sold, it was off since Feb 19, 2019 and returned Jan 8th 2020...it was never off the air for more than a year.
And 1300 is on the air. The current engineer working on it confirmed that with me on the phone last week.
It is on, but very weak in Beaumont. I suspect it is not at full power.
What is it running? I posted elsewhere about the KHTW ID on Radio Vida's programming which is airing on several frequencies in Houston.

According to the public file for KHTW; beginning on September 24, 2005, the licensee has filed a Silent Notification for 1300 KSET/KLLS/KHTW Lumberton on 12 different occasions.
The last one covered a time period between January 20, 2019 and January 6, 2020. Prior to that, the then KLLS was authorized for silence from February 11, 2017 through February 11, 2018, going silent again on February 16th, and returning to the air on November 24, 2018.
I'm rather surprised by the previous commentary that I'm reading, apparently upset with the current owner not broadcasting OTA in Beaumont. Why the sudden fuss? It doesn't appear to have been much cause for concern during the last 15 years.
There’s no ‘sudden fuss’. This started as speculation by others about 87.7 being on the air in Beaumont, which it is not currently. There is supposedly someone licensed to have audio on that frequency, just like KHTW, which is now back on the air, barely audible in Beaumont.

They have over 100 likes, they must be doing something sort of right LOL.
Tejano is like smooth jazz and Beautiful Music... a format that is irrelevant today.

When they claimed they could reach houston with a tejano format, they had a few people start following them but yes i am sure 1300 is re broadcasting KLVL from Pasadena.
