"Strictly Sinatra" - Should it be dropped?

I know that during this summer we are going to have one of our older students at WMLN hosting a sinatra show, and I know from past summers that it was a huge hit. So i think it should stay on PLM (and i'll mention it again this summer for MLN's version)

Why mess with success? If people like it, if adverisers support it - go for it!
(supposedly, one compelling reason for satelite radio is that they have entire channels that feature onee band/artist) Would I personally listen to it? No - not my taste. But there is a demand, obviously.
Same for, say, 50's doo-wop. Not for me, but there must be an audience for it.

WAZN has lease time available. Why not use your imagination, and start up a program of your own???

>>entire channels that feature onee band/artist

Yes, I know one of the satellite companies has an all-Elvis channel. They were piping it in at Graceland
(in the waiting area before we got on our shuttle buses across the street). I believe their motto is,
"America has had 43 Presidents, but only one King"

I enjoy 'Strictly Sinatra' on Saturday nights. Frank Sinatra's music is timeless. And has something that every generation can appreciate. True class!

Now if you want to hear something really funny. Tune into Ron Dwyer's Saturday night show between
11:20-11-30pm. And listen for 'Ringo' by Lorne Greene. Ron's version of the song. Is really funny.
You may hear Willliam Shatner or Bugs Bunny. Or something completely different.

Oop! Forget to add. Ron Dwyer can be found at 101.9 WCIB. 'Cool-102'

Dwyer is also on WATD 95.9 FM Marshfield most Monday through Thursday evenings 7 - 10 PM, and Saturday afternoons 2 - 6 PM.

He does his "Ringo" mash-ups between 9:40 - 9:50 PM on WATD.

He laid face down in the desert sand, clutching a sixgun in his hand........
