Stunting on KKGO HD3

Sean Ross says Classic Country can be "Big Country."

Talk about legendary, I used to hear KVOO 1170 at night out here on the West Coast. Those were the "DX days"!

Personally I would love to have the return of KSURF as there are currently no oldies stations in Southern California. But from the sound of the stunting, it will probably be something with classic country or the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim have found a new home.
Saul should make a deal to simulcast KYNO 940. That's a pretty good oldies station.

More here:

Article doesn't say when exactly the station is gong to launch. But if it is on the same day as the FM sports station, sorry, but I am going to Walk the Line right to KKGO-HD3 and get me some nice classic country.

As my grandpa used to say, "if the song ain't about drinking, losing your dog or losing your girl, it ain't country".

You forgot something very important: You gotta sing about your truck. Oh i forgot, you gotta "sang" about your truck.

I hope there is good representation of the sequin and rhinestone era in the 70's. It truly isn't "classic" country without Twitty, Wynette and Jones, and a little Loretta Lynn now and then. And don't forget the bad boys, Johnny, Waylon, and Willie!

So when is this supposed to launch? I'm still hearing "Back In The Saddle" on the stream. I suppose when you're 100 years old, it takes a person longer to put together and launch a new format. 😁
