Don't listen to FM anymore here in South Florida. I either stream my station through my phone or now Party 93.1 HD-2 after buying the stereo for my car.

"A Better Party" sounds just like that, a dance leaning Top 40. While it would suck to lose "pure dance" Party 93.1, if that's what they have to do to compete than I'm all for it.
 
I truly believe if a lot of dance stations managed to pull through until 2011, many of them would've been ok, especially the ones that were mainstream / moderate to heavy leaning rhythmics or top 40's.
 
Update 12/11: Cox has begun identifying the station as “Easy 93.1” on the air and promoting “Continuous Soft & Easy Favorites” coming after the holidays. The adjacent logo appeared on the station’s new Facebook page earlier today.

Yep, already a fresh new "easy 93" page and already someone complained.

Some people still believe this is a smoke screen, but looks to me it is what it is.
 
For the past few weeks I haven't been able to get Party 93.1 to come in on my HD Radio. I've seen someone else complain about this on their Facebook page as well.

With them losing the battle for 93.1 HD1 to "Easy 93.1" and this comment on their Facebook wall, is this an indication that Party 93.1 is going back to full online streaming only?

Lyle Saltzman Can anyone let me know if you can stream this station to an iphone? I read the faqs and followed what it said but no luck... do not see a listen live link anywhere... lil help please.

Osmany Piedra they dont stream becouse they dont have advertiser dollars to help pay for the stream

I know this is all speculation but it has been a weird turn of events recently.
 
Well it looks like WMIA has returned... shifting towards Hot AC, a la WISX/Philadephia.

Personally, it looks like Miami is turning from a Dance-friendly radio market to a AC-friendly one.

So much for WMIA going Hot AC... they've shifted back to Rhythmic Hot AC.
