Not sure what music software they were using, 3 CD decks, Voxpro, and a couple of minidisc player decks... no turntables or reel to reel playerssdh483 said:poops said:I could loan them some music to fill those servers plus a few more & if they still have vinyl, cassette or even 8 track.... If you're going to keep classic rock on the Eagle, please widen the playlist. Surely Cox isn't so cheap their server only has the same 300 songs to play repeatedly.
The server should have plenty of space now. If Eagle plays 300 songs, there should be vacancy from the 600 former songs from The Zone (note the wide playlist). 107.5 and 106.9 are GONE from my presets. I listened to The Point and The Zone but I can't take The Eagle as one of my top 6 "A" Bank presets. I live in Katy and I'd prefer the poor reception of KHJK and it has replaced 106.9. I used to listen to D&R but the bashing of people wanting their Zone or another station on 106.9 did me in.
Just like their decision to dump The Zone, they were probably dumb enough to toss out all analog equipment, including some nice broadcast grade turntables, some Otari reel to reels, Tascam cassette decks and JBL studio monitors for a computer and some crappy self-powered speakers.
Funny I just imagined them having only 1 CD Player capable of playing MP3s, and 1 CD holding 300 songs :
