Not sure how I was insulting anyone's intelligence, just trying offer a possible scenario. Since the ratings still sit on this board, it seems like a plausible explanation. Maybe you have a better idea?

The numbers have been removed by the moderators because, surprise surprise, IT'S NOT ALLOWED. Rankers are allowed, that's why they're still up, and that's why you only see rankers in the papers. It's allowed.

Because we're provincial...you'd think they'd at least put these playoffs on the AM and do talk on FM
or vice versa. Or run the game on WRKO. The other night they (93.7/850) did run Yankees-Tigers; a poss. elimination game but Yanks
won and now both teams have a game 5 Thu night...I believe both NLDS series will have a game
5 Fri night.

If you don't have XM, TBS etc there are ways to get the game. At work, in the break room, I can pick
up Phillies on WPHT 1210, Yankees on WCBS 880 or WPOP 1410, and ESPN on some frequencies etc

WEEI may wind up running a few ALCS or NLCS games, World Series, etc. Thanks to labor troubles
there may not be Celtics games in the way of doing that...

Whoa, whoa calm down there. The papers list which place each station fell in the three main demos. For example "Felger was first 29-54, Big Show was 8th". They don't give out the actual numbers. This practice is not in violation of Arbitron's policy.

We see the total numbers and WEEI is ahead, but Kalendar's numbers tell a different story, which makes his/her credibility suspect.

Except that the Globe & Herald confirm the rating demo scores as well. They just don't list the numbers.

Chad Finn and Jessica Heslam are both WEEI haters. I attach even less credibility to anything they write. It's the same as when Ron Borges writes anything about Belichick........a definite agenda.

...but if hired, they would. I think he was trying to say there was only one company around that does ratings, which is incorrect.

Arbitron can say all it wants, but it doesn't change the law that facts are not protected by copyright. If Arbitron ever tried to sue a newspaper for copyright infringement for publishing their ratings, the case would be dismissed before you could blink an eye.
