Sunday Surprise

I look forward to hearing that exciting Diamondbacks postseason play in stereo next weekend, when I'm in Phoenix

Nurse Jeff and I welcome you to stop by the Media Hut In Buckeye during your visit. Don't worry 'bout keeping us up late...there's always Clark Howard on News 92~three, KT'R. Bet you don't get to hear this great local talker in Pt Hueneme!

11p-2a on KFMB 760. The only non-nosepicker on the station.

As for the D-Backs, their game at 1:40 today is listed as being on
KT'R 620 in the gameday story in the Arizona Socialist Republic,
which in reality means the 92.3/620 simulcast that's in place thru
the rest of 2006.

Trimulcast.

XM 184, in glorious 1k mono.

Truth be told, KTAR-XM today has a nasty 60 cycle hum on the entire feed. I wonder how that sounds on FM stereo?

60 cycle hum, one or three second delay... ?

and i thought i had no life. :-[

The Kiva, the Sombrero, the Palms, Silver Dollar, the Round Up, the Kachina (Cinerama!), the El Camino, Thomas Mall Cinemas, Los Arcos, the Fox Theatre.

Sigh......

The guy who owned the Portofino Theater - the one that showed all the foreign and art films- just passed away. He was the most amazing man. He was a Phoenix College prof with a love of cinema, but in real life he was the man who wrote the book on Calculus. I mean, he actually wrote the book. He just passed away in Pacific Palisades, an amazing story.

Dr. Louis Leithold.
