Equity doesn't even promote WAIV (WAYV's simulcast). But I guess there's no need. Their signal comes in like crazy down there.d21ofnj said:99.3 never promoted or branded the 105.5 frequency.
Correction: Promo says 70s & 80s, not 60sRkworld said:Sunny 105.5 = some 60s, more 70s & 80s hits

josh sums it up perfectly. Today's homogeneity in radio has turned practically every station into nothing more than a seek & scan stop in an endless hit parade. By taking away the personality factor, they've removed the reason for favoring one station over another. After all, there's hardly any distinguishable characteristics when it comes to the music, really... at least for me personally. I have a hard time making the distinction between rock and country or how an AC station differs from Contemporary Hits. Maybe others can; but it's all the same to my untrained ear.josh said:You made a great point!!! Unfortunately, radio has been taken over by big groups that think everything is just music. They forget that radio is also a comfort food. People driving on the road or listening to radio at their office, identify the personalities as really their friends. Pandora can't do that.
