Sunny is programmed by CC now not Xm (hence the reason why theres no artist/song title info) The only sunny lives on with Escape (XM78?)The Dude said:I guess they didnt like the FORCED COMMERCIALS that clear channel wanted on there........How stupid is all this????????? (VERY!!)
It's broader than a traditional A/C format, at times sounding like a shuffle format like Jack (only with music aimed at older listeners). It's not playing the same music as a Jack station would, just using the same kind of "shuffle" play technique. They have gone beyond traditional A/C with transitions from big band into new age into jazz into 70s pop and even into a blues song yesterday. The big problem with the format is that it is too broad and I can imagine someone listening to a song or three and then leaving when the first song hits that is too far outside of the traditional A/C format.Louis_009 said:What songs they play on Sunny-XM to become a JACK formact?? is it very close to a JACK formact or is it like light A/C type?
Sunny isn't the Jack station........Mix is starting to look like a Jack-FM formatLouis_009 said:What songs they play on Sunny-XM to become a JACK formact?? is it very close to a JACK formact or is it like light A/C type?

They did........Mix is now more of a current/harder mix than Sunny iscoops said:I love the new Sunny CM. The more I listened this past weekend, the more I enjoyed it. Now the question is, will CC try and format this on any of their stations. I thought the mix from the 40s to today worked just fine.
