Sure is quiet on the Magical 8th floor in Dothan

Sounds like a good opportunity for y'all to get back to work instead of playing on the computer!

@dothan radio

does 4 x 100,000 = 4 times the employees or half the employees. Using corporate radio logic we know someone is going bye-bye

With as much as y'all gossip on here about individuals and the inner workings of that company, I'd send every single one of you into the peanut fields.

The Holidays are going to a little "slight of hand" and put the ownership in some "unrelated" family faction, and then ignore the ownership rules and regulations and sell them all in combo. Unless someone complains....look at the incestuous crossownership in some of their other markets! Watch em try to own 7FMs in Dothan.

Nobody is dumb enough to run three 100,000-watt country stations in the same market. Clay is a smart guy. Heads will roll...he made that perfectly clear today.

Maybe TLC could come make a show of it?

"In a world where the radio market is saturated with George and Reba - TLC brings you the newest show to their line-up: Dothan DJ Idol Belles"

All joking aside, it's going to be a crazy 90 days!

Absolutely. I have already heard the buyer of the spinoffs was a General Manager for the Holladays in Fort Walton
and a part owner in one of their other properties.

A shell corporation it appears.

Lets just see if any of the spinoffs format against Holladays new cluster. Bet they don't.

You would think the FCC would scrutinize this, but they don't give a rats ass

Of the three, TVY, DJR, USD, who will get to hold the title of Dothan's country station.
Quoting from the movie "Highlander" "There can be only one" My guess is WTVY.
