Swift-Mania Drives SNF Ratings

Too many Americans have a fatal character flaw. The country is literally dying by bullets, but it's never a GUN PROBLEM...
Some states know it's a gun problem but then again it's bound to NRA Propaganda.

Now this there are reports of Children are listed as mass shooting victims according to this report at area hospitals. Expect lots of conspiracy theories to come out of this one.

Per the KCPD, one dead, 22 shot, three detained. No other details as yet. The KC TV stations (I'm watching on KMBC/9 via NewsOn) have spent the afternoon desperate to fill time for the most part, since official news updates have been few and far between.

Update the victim that died in the Kansas City Mass shooting at the Chiefs parade route is identified as KKFI-FM Host Lisa Lopez Galvan.
Yes, Lisa was the host of the station's Tejano music show. Sad news!

So many kids among the victims. Thankfully not fatal for them, and incredibly sad any life was lost.

Schools
Houses of worship
Movie theaters
Offices
Supermarkets
Concerts
Parades
Nightclubs & restaurants
Bowling alleys

Every corner of our daily existence. None of them immune from the scourge of gun violence. Mass events that happen far less (in per capita terms, not just in absolute numbers) all over the globe, but are so commonplace here that we become numb to them and just add them to a list that grows longer by the day. All because we continue to pretend we still live in the 18th century and that somehow a collection of random people back then were in possession of some otherworldly wisdom that still must be true hundreds of years later.

We gotta consider this one there are politicians out there making arguments about "Good Guy" with gun statements and it always ends with statements that victim deserved to die because he did this crime in the past type statements. Then in court we have "Blame the Hero" that gets used in those examples leaving the person convicted of shooting a person he is accusing more paranoid than the people they claim to be protecting. Yes this is a factor why some places don't like gun control laws.

Here is an update on the Kansas City Mass Shooting investigation at the Chiefs Parade.
2 men are charged with murder in the deadly shooting at Kansas City's Super Bowl celebration
