Syndication for 2020-2021!!

Well that is more fair then. It is just as well the second run of Wheel hasn’t happened if it isn’t going to be paired with the second run of Jeopardy. You can’t have one without the other (as the Married With Children theme goes)—at least in the Eastern and the Pacific Time Zones.

Tell that to most of the FOX stations carrying them - Wheel gets bumped on Thursdays during NFL season due to the pregame show, but Jeopardy! gets to stay where it is. One station, WXIX in Cincinnati, airs J!'s second run at 6:00, Wheel at 7:00, and J!'s first run at 7:30. Last season, on Thursdays or World Series days, J! would move to 7:00 and Wheel would be bumped to 1:30 AM. After they got complaints for this, this season, while J! did still move to 7:00, WOF instead moved to 6:00 and bumped J!'s second run to 1:30 AM, which is definitely fair no matter which of the two shows you prefer.

Well that’s true....WCNC and other NBC affiliates have the same issue during the Olympics...at least it’s just for two weeks every other year. WJZY airs a local TNF pregame at 7 so both would be getting bumped. If they had the rights they would probably shift them over to WMYT on TNF nights. But not everyone has sister stations.

Mel Robbins announced today she is not coming back next year.

WKRN ABC 2 Nashville has already dropped Mel Robbins from their schedule. It had been airing at 12:07 AM Central (or 12:37 when Wheel of Fortune is pre-empted). It has reverted to an encore of Dr. Phil (also airs at 3:00 PM), which occupied that slot last season

WMTW ABC 8 in Portland, Maine appears to have dropped the Saturday run of Wheel of Fortune and replaced it with Paid Programming at 7:00. This did not happen to Jeopardy!, which continues to air Saturdays at 7:30. If this is permanent, this makes it the fourth market to not carry WOF Weekend at all, joining Springfield, MA (WWLP), Harrisonburg, VA (WHSV), and Lima, OH (WLIO). WWLP does air Weekend Jeopardy!, but the other two don't air either show on weekends.

I'd look for more of this to happen as the crisis goes on. Advertisers are pulling back sharply, and apparently, individual stations can no longer make as much money through local advertising even on proven winners like "Wheel" as they can by selling the time slots to infomercial producers, who don't expect measurable audiences, just direct response from the dozens or hundreds of interested viewers in every market.

Drew Barrymore talker is a go I know which TV station isn't going to take Drew that would be Sinclair since they got both Tamron Hall & Kelly Clarkson CW7 airs Tamron Hall at 11AM & WWMT airs Kelly Clarkson at 3PM.

or what if either WXMI or WOTV picks up Drew's show? do you think there might be a possibility one of those stations picks it up?

I could see WXMI Fox17 picking up Drew maybe 10AM since Mel Robbins isn't returning, I could see WOTV maybe they get rid of The Goldbergs or Blackish to WXSP maybe also 12PM haven't aired anything at 12PM for years it's just paid programming for a full hour. Wendy Williams was the last show aired at 12PM in 2011-12 season now on at 10AM.

now see for Amarillo, i think KCIT Fox14 could possibly pick up Nick Cannon's talk show to replace Mel Robbins, i also imagine KFDA may pick up Drew's show.

Cannon only way to KCWE is if get rid of Springer reruns at 2pn and 3pm for it and a midday Newscast. FOX4KC can move up everything up and hour and add 4pm local Newscast.

Sister Circle was only aired on a few TEGNA TV stations only 6 or 7 TV stations. I was surprised that TEGNA aired Sister Circle 10AM has always been its death slot nothing works at 10AM first season Sister Circle was only 30 minutes in fall 2017 and it's second season aired a full hour in fall 2018. And the reason I say I was surprised since West Michigan & GR as an urban area. Next week Apr 27 will air Access Daily at 10AM on a one-day delay replacing Sister Circle Main Show Access Hollywood airs on Nexstar's WOTV at 5:30PM.

Yup. Putting your TV show on exclusively one owner's stations is nearly always a death sentence. If you're not being seen in New York City, even on WLNY, or Los Angeles, don't get your hopes up for a season 2.

Remember, usually syndicated TV shows are sold to stations, not bartered for payment in ad slots. So the issue is not whether a show gets clearance in all the markets, but whether it gets enough stations to make money.

Obviously, the fee depends on the market size, so larger market stations pay more.

And for local stations to renew, they have to get ratings that can be sold to local accounts and agencies and to national accounts making spot buys in each market.

WFAA has already replaced Sister Circle starting tomorrow at 2 PM with a extra 30 minute edition of "Good Morning Texas" called "GMT Extra" which I think is either a filler program until the 2020-2021 season or will become a new permanent local afternoon show. now let's see if the other TEGNA stations only syndicated program "Daily Blast Live" gets blasted into cancelation too.

I saw a promo that 2 Broke Girls is moving from CW7 to WXSP on June 15 which WXSP took Mike & Molly last June from CW7 no time was given. I know last year they put court shows at 4PM Caught In Providence second run moved from 1AM to 4:30PM in June 2019 moved back to 1AM in Sep 2019. I wouldn't be surprised if that is what happens again and maybe move America Says & 25 Words Or Less from 4PM for America Says to 5PM and 25 Words Or Less at from 4:30PM to 5:30PM or they could put the second runs of both in a 2 hour run even know CW7 doesn't say their second runs only the 1ST runs. Which CW7 could put a full hour of Family Guy & Bob's Burger at 11PM & 12AM will not know until a couple of weeks from now and I'll update it when I know what CW7 will put in the lineup along with WXSP and the time for 2 Broke Girls.

Funny For You lineup on CW7 will only be a 2-hour block as of June 15 Last Man Standing & Big Bang LSM at 6PM to 7PM Big Bang 7PM to 8PM. The Funny For You block use to be 4 hours than 3 hours and will soon be just 2 hours.

No Charlotte station has ever cleared Last Man Standing in syndication, that I know of.
