Perhaps a nice severance? Paid-out his contract? Either of those are pretty standard, even with termination.
"See this big check and continued benefits? They can be yours if you sign this paper agreeing to stay off the air in this market for six months."

It's not just a WGY thing. It's a radio thing. Would you say NO?
Now if PV is interested in AR, and I do mean IF, they either wait or get a lawyer to try and change that agreement...which may involve paying some of the dough back.....but those deals are usually pretty sound.
 
Well you know it 'ain't' Stevens cause when PV was talking about Dan's replacement at the end of his shift this morning he said "HE" and added "don't worry we'll take good care of Kelly." It can't be Vassi or Parisi as Paul hasn't brought them on board even as part timers. It's Roney! Vandenburgh said we just need to work out a few things and everyone will be happy with the decision. Let's face it Paul is not a talented host or programmer and his mic technique is befitting of a GEICO ad, but as uncouth as he is he has two things going for him: gutter smarts and the day he got in radio he stepped in a heap of luck which is still caking his broadcasting shoes. He knows Sweeny’s day is done. How the heck did Paul get in radio anyway? His live reads are painful. Don’t get me wrong I can’t listen to PV and his Paulie’s Playhouse format but it makes a heart glad that he is beating the so called giants at their own game. Kudos Pee-Wee…eh Paulie. I’m pulling for you.
 
Al has a post on his FB page "I can breathe again". Posted 2 hours ago. Friends of his are asking if he's employed? So something is in the wind..

KB, if anyone would have the "inside" information, it is you. I hope PV takes care of you after all of this.
 
Well, Kelly's back and she sounds like she's going nowhere soon. She said she'll be off this Friday infering that she will be back again next week.
What's happening "experts and insiders"?
If Kelly Stevens is staying then Paulie should say so. Again, she sounds like she's not going anywhere for now.

Unless there's paper work that needs to be done, I have no clue what the delay is. Unless you're Al's wife, she's the one that has the real answer....

One more week with Kelly then on Monday the 21st the new afternoon person will start. Paul V. will be announcing the host of the afternoon show next week. This will be the 4th time of a next week announcement...
