Is it REALLY? We know how that stuff trickles down to the listeners, and how seriously they take it. Radio attracts a strange type of egomaniac.

I think that it's at least for real with Erich Muller when it comes to Bob & Tom; he can't stand those two.

Mancow once got dropped from a Chicago station so it could put on "Bob & Tom."

He's been bitter ever since.

Never mind that "B&T" failed miserably as his replacement.

I won't name names, but I worked at a lot of talk stations where the hosts really didn't like each other. I had, and still have, a few names on that list. So it's not always a "work". In fact I could tell you some stories about hosts getting into fights in the hallways and the parking lots. Now a days you don't have that because of lack of local talent, and one sided political content.

Before the all-talk days, but there was the famous on-air brawl between Lujack and Dahl on WLS.
