Although there's a gtreat variety of music channels on Sirius, I am extremely diasppointed in the quality of its talk prograsmming. Of course there's Stern, and Alex Bennett as well as Lynn Samuels are quite good. But most of the other talk shows on Sirius are awful, or at best out of place.: Thom Hartman, Michael Reagan, Hannity repeats, Stephanie Miller, etc. These are just terrestrial shows that in my opinion don't belong on Sirius when there's plenty of talent out there for Sirius to hire as Sirius talk show hosts. Weekenders on KFI in Los Angeles and KGO in San Francisco would be a good place to start.
It's unfortunate that Sirius has been "lazy" in the talk radio department...with more people than ever getting their music from the internet. good talk radio is still very much appreciated by listeners and should be more than just an afterthought to the music.
