Ted Sarandis lands at WATD (sort of)

An interesting note about Ted he has never been in the new Garden. He refuses to step foot it in. I expected to see him at the Garden for the NCAA's last year but he was not there.

I know for a fact he was at the Commonwealth Classic in 1996 between UMass and BC. He was appalled by the building and has never come back.

I enjoyed working with him back in 1988 when Continental Cable was doing Harvard home games. Ted did basketball and Bob Gamere did hockey.

one of the reasons I stopped listening to EEI is the celeb callers. They are awful human beings. most of them are banned from sports hub but some occasionally get thru.
I don't listen, but I hear that a lot of them get on the air now. I read somewhere that Danny from Quincy is a regular caller. Danny is famous for bringing up something that he supposedly predicted two years ago. He acts like people take notes when he talks. I heard him say many years ago that he went to CT school of broadcasting, but never got on the air. With a voice and accent like that I'm surprised they took his money. The worst of them all is Steve from Fall River. If Einstein's example of insanity is accurate, this guy is as crazy as a s***house rat. He calls every day with the same "I know more than the team's management" story, and recites the team history until someone says "get to the point" and then hangs up on him. He keeps doing it over and over and I assume he thinks he'll get a different result.

Thanks for correcting me I did not realize he was there in 1996. I don't believe he has been back since. If he has I haven't seen him and I am there for about 95% of the events. Maybe when the weather gets warmer I ll head over to the East Boston Oval and see if I can find hi there.
